ANDERSON, Ind. — Lisa Dawson always dreamed of performing in New York City’s Carnegie Hall; nearly every musician does. The soprano, though, gave up that dream, deciding to focus on her family and chose a career in academia instead of moving to New York and submitting to endless auditions.

Distinguished Concerts International New York (DCINY) presents the entrancing Soprani Compagni in a recital of music by Monteverdi, Vivaldi, Schumann, Britten and more for this unique combination of soprano duet – sopranos Lisa Dawson and Tammie Huntington – with pianist Phoenix Park-Kim.
